Cireon Calculator

This calculator was a very complex Excel worksheet with charting which, while functional, was very difficult to modify due to deeply nested equations – some of them more than 50 levels deep, as you can see in the screenshot. Additionally, the user experience of having to download an Excel file is obviously not ideal. The challenge was to make this usable for website visitors without having to download and launch an Excel file, and HaveAByte was up to that challenge!

The Excel equations were dissected and converted into custom Javascript with small bits of JQuery. Everything calculates and renders (draws) on the screen in real-time, instantly. The charting functions were built with integration into Google Chart Tools.
