Getting a new work order system is risky. It’s directly tied to your invoicing, which means if you make the wrong software choice, it will affect your bottom line. Make this choice carefully, because you are placing a large amount of trust in the work order software. Our trust is well placed in AyaNova.
I am a computer consultant who’s grown from a one man operation to an eight person company. The manual system we were using for work orders was really slowing us down. I spent about 2 months looking at a lot of different options. I narrowed the list down to a few finalists and AyaNova was at the top of the list from the beginning. To be honest, the reason why I didn’t select it right away was the lack of “hand holding” and phone support. Competitors to AyaNova will spend an hour on the phone with you going through their software in detail and explaining why it’s the best. Then they will charge you 2.5 times the price of AyaNova. You can also call the competitors and speak to somebody on the phone, but you will pay for it. AyaNova does things a little differently. You need to be a little more self-directed. 15 minutes of reading the online manual is all that is necessary to get a good grip on the system. In addition, my experience with support has been absolutely AMAZING. Every single time I have needed something, I’ve simply emailed support@AyaNova.com and I’ve gotten a response within 15 minutes no matter how specific the issue. And not just any response, I get a detailed and qualified genuinely helpful response. Most times 1 email and 1 reply solves the problem. And by the way, the issue has always been operator error – never that the software is not able to do what I need. They even follow up on issues when I don’t get back to them! In the end, it’s actually much BETTER then phone support. Really and truly, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Also, AyaNova has been around for many years. There is a large user community. This means that they’ve been there, done that. The answer to most of my questions was resolved by a simple search of the help manual online or the forums. This is a HUGE benefit of this software and not offered by most of their competitors. I urge you to download the demo and give it a try. It takes just a minute to install. Read over the Help documentation. When you run into something you don’t understand, try the forum and then email support. You’ll be surprised at the quality of help you receive. In the end, this is what really made the difference for me. Lastly, AyaNova is actively being developed. The already comprehensive feature list is growing fast. All of these things combine to make AyaNova a smart choice for work order business management software.
